Music or Silence while you write?
Silence — This is a mechanical question for me.  I can’t physically type, due to long-standing fibromyalgia/RSI, so I use a voice-activation program which requires absolute silence in order to function properly.
What weird food do you like?
I love all food, and no food is weird if you like it! But to answer the spirit of the question: I love steak tartare, as well as this fried eggplant-with-anchovy-shrimp paste Thai dish.
What is one of your most irrational fears?
Scuba Diving
How many novels/short stories/screenplays/poems/etc have you published?
One short story! However, I will be publishing several books in the next few years. My debut novel, YA science fiction FORGET TOMORROW, will be releasing from Entangled Teen in November, 2015. Also, my YA contemporary thriller, THE DARKEST LIE, will be releasing from Kensington Teen in July, 2016. FIT TO DIE and its sequel will be coming soon from Entangled Teen, as well as another stand-alone contemporary YA from Kensington Teen.
How much do you write every day?
Depends on the day and my kids’ activities. Anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, but I do try to write every day.
