One Day in Vegas: Celebration of Life

Happy Wednesday, fishy friends!

Two weeks ago I accompanied my mom to Las Vegas with the purpose of honoring the passing of the love of her life. His one wish was that his life be celebrated and not mourned. I think we rocked that request. Today I’d like to share that day with you in pictures. Here was our day in honor of Cliff…

3 o'clock margaritas left me feeling a little tipsy...kind of how you might feel looking at this sideways, darn Word Press!

Cliff took Mom to her first male revue back in the 70's so of course we had to do this in his honor.

  1. Love this! So happy that you and your awesomesauce mom could do this together!!! 😉

  2. Tearing up. Very sweet & well said! We honored him as he did us. Thank you for going with & for everything! Feel the love! He’s very proud of you.

  3. What a wonderful celebration of his life! He would have loved that you did this, I’m sure. I feel honored to even see the pictures. How awesome of the two of you.
Just one question…did you DRINK that margarita????

    1. Kim! I did in fact drink that. It was the first margarita I’ve ever had other than a sip. It was 99 cents, three o’clock in the afternoon, and for a good cause! For the record, we took a nap afterwards and then it was Chippendales time. 😉

  4. How beautiful. Glad you guys could spend this time together honoring Cliff. Love the pics!

    1. Hi Aunt Terry! There was a picture I really wanted to include of her walking up to the helicopter in the short black dress and the cute red, t-strap heels but the website wouldn’t let me insert it right side up. She got lots of great compliments on those shoes that day. Thanks for stopping by!
